I have been hoping for something like VPN Fusion for the longest time. The whole idea of being able to tunnel your select devices through different VPN's is so much fun. I am a plus subscriber to Proton VPN and have wanted the liberty and flexibility of selecting which of my device interfaces would go through which VPN.
The key word is 'which' VPN. With Proton VPN I can download various configurations from select VPN in different countries to whether I would like it to block malware or adware, or both!
This flexibility of downloading various Proton VPN configurations and then tying it with VPN Fusion to enable for different device interfaces is so much fun. Here are a few example configurations I have tried out.
You can configure VPN Fusion to run a UK based VPN that would be enabled for just your Apple TV's wireless connection. In that sense the Apple TV is the only device that is connected to UK at your home streaming UK media to your TV.
Simultaneously having a US VPN blocking malware and adware assigned to the wireless interface of your mobile device and laptop. So only those two devices would go through that VPN connection while the rest of the devices are connected without the VPN.
VPN Fusion assigned the VPN configuration based on the MAC address of the interface. Which means for any device that has a wired and wireless hardware you can assign two separate configurations based on their MAC address.
